Dictionary for children

Hi readers!

Do you remember when you had a book about animals when you were children? We have made one similar to that! We had to make a dictionary for children about whatever we wanted, so Maialen and I decided to do it about animals

We hope you find the work funny. Bye!

Google Slides

Hi readers!

Here you have the last project we have done in class. It is a tutorial done by my partner Maialen and I, showing you have to create a mind map in Mind42, the application we used some weeks ago.

If you have some questions or you don't understand something about it, you can leave a comment so I can help or explain it to you.

Have a look on it, it will be useful for you.

Children's rights

Hi readers!

I've been working on a project about children's rights with my partner Maialen, which I've just published, and now, I'd like to comment to you what I think about children's rights.

Firstly, from my point of view, all children from all over the world must have the same rights and enjoy them, without being discriminated due to their national origin, religion...

We can distinguish many different rights as they are the right for an education and the right to a life. Children have also the right to protection and health. These last two rights aren't respected in many countries, underdeveloped as well as developed ones. Many children are being mistreated everyday, some of them even dying for it, as I showed you in my last post. The majority of us think that this mistreat is only happening in countries that wars are visible, or in countries that the social situation is hard. But they don't realise that for sure more than one children might have been mistreated in her or his country.

Secondly, these children have also the right to be heard, which isn't normally taking into account in more that a country. Mainly because people think children have nothing interesting to say or to teach us, aspect that is fully untrue.

As a conclusion, I think that children's situation is not taken as seriously as it must be. And that we all have something to contribute for make them smile, and have a better life. They need our help, so if you're reading my post I'd be very grateful if you decide to donate UNICEF or similar organisations in order to change their lives in a positive way.

See you soon,

Glogster

Hi readers!

This time we've been working on a project called Glogster. Glogster is an application where you can create some kind of "posters" in a very simple way using stickers, pictures, videos... and of course, as it is an online application, you can make it from anywhere.

My classmate Maialen and I have worked on this project together, and as subject we decided to chose children's rights due to nowadays many children are exploted, without education and without some rights they are supposed to have so they can deserve to have a normal childhood.

We hope you enjoy it!

See you soon,

Dotsub

Hi readers!

This time my classmates and I had been working on an online application called "Dotsub". This application provides you to translate and caption any song you like to in a very simple and efficient way. To do this, you firstly have to download another application so that you can later on download the song that you want to translate from youtube. Secondly, you must sign up on dotsub, which is completely free, as you cannot do anything without having your own account. And that's all, you are prepared for translating your song as I have done it.

According to the selection of the song, as many of my classmates chose a modern song, I decided to translate an older one. This is because in my opinion, most of the songs that nowadays are in fashion are basically "rubbish" in comparison with the songs singers used to compose some decades ago. Taking into account all this, I decided to translate a song called "Let it be" from the famous band The Beatles. I suppose you all have a certain idea of this group, due to they had being one of the best groups ever. Furthermore, they continue to be very influential nowadays. But, I won't start informing you about their lives, or their careers, however, as I suppose that more than one would be interested in increasing his knowledge about them, here I let you the link to their official website.

There is another aspect of the song I would also liked to talk to you about: the meaning. For me, the feeling a song causes on me is the most important thing. Because as we all know, music influences people in many ways including their way of thinking and acting... We listen to music when we are going through a hard time, when we are enjoying ourselves, when we want to celebrate something... It has been proved that it can change our feelings in many different ways, as lyrics go deep into your heart. Music can really make you appreciate your life and you actually get to know yourself much better. So, as when I firstly listen to this song it made me think about the essential freedom one needs, it directly turned into one of my favourites songs.

That's all for now, I hope you will enjoy it!

See you soon
