Children's rights

Hi readers!

I've been working on a project about children's rights with my partner Maialen, which I've just published, and now, I'd like to comment to you what I think about children's rights.

Firstly, from my point of view, all children from all over the world must have the same rights and enjoy them, without being discriminated due to their national origin, religion...

We can distinguish many different rights as they are the right for an education and the right to a life. Children have also the right to protection and health. These last two rights aren't respected in many countries, underdeveloped as well as developed ones. Many children are being mistreated everyday, some of them even dying for it, as I showed you in my last post. The majority of us think that this mistreat is only happening in countries that wars are visible, or in countries that the social situation is hard. But they don't realise that for sure more than one children might have been mistreated in her or his country.

Secondly, these children have also the right to be heard, which isn't normally taking into account in more that a country. Mainly because people think children have nothing interesting to say or to teach us, aspect that is fully untrue.

As a conclusion, I think that children's situation is not taken as seriously as it must be. And that we all have something to contribute for make them smile, and have a better life. They need our help, so if you're reading my post I'd be very grateful if you decide to donate UNICEF or similar organisations in order to change their lives in a positive way.

See you soon,
